The following seven paper clippings relate to the 23rd September 1947 when the fishing boat Elizabeth was missing in a storm and believed lost It was found 20 miles off Aberdeen by the trawler Soubrette who began the tow then the tow was taken up by the Happy Return Gourdon fishing boat The crew of the Elizabeth were William Lownie,John Duncan Smith, Alexander Souter and James McBay.
